Diving in Na Trang was excellent. It has been a good 5 years since my last dive, and I forgot how much I like it. No matter the very strong current, the limited visibility (just 10 feet), and the effects of not having enough weight (basically you get to a certain depth and there is NO stopping the accent. up ya go. You just hope that there are no boats on top of you when you get to the surface!). It was a blast! Now every other time that I have gone diving, I was wearing contact lens. It hit me 10 minutes before I got on the boat that, oh - glasses really don't fit all that well under a mask. Well... thank goodness for human ingenuity! Did you know that they make masks that already have prescription lens? Oh thank you brilliant person for coming up with the idea, and thank you company that I went with that actually had some on the boat! Being able to see just makes the dive SO much more enjoyable!
I saw some amazing thing on both dives that I did today. The waters of Vietnam are home to some of the biggest starfish ever! Well, I have not seen otherwise to prove myself wrong. And some of those starfish come in brilliant blue colors. I think Vietnam should change its flag from just a yellow star to a big blue starfish! They should show some pride for their local wildlife. Even the sea slugs are the prettiest and biggest ones that I have ever come across. I even saw one of these:

Tonight I am headed down to the next beach town - Mu Nie. It is THE surf spot of Vietnam. I will do a little reconnaissance work and see if it all that it is cracked up to be. I might even have to try it out myself...

Sounds nice place to be diving!
Dont have Vietnam on the plan but who knows!
Is our get together still on the planning? Care for some more diving in Thailand now :-)
Hope hearing from you soon!
Take care
Hey Love! So glad you enjoyed diving and did not crash into a boat! Mabe eat a heafthy dinner to get some weight before the dive?
That fish looked awesome. I hope you have an underwater camera w you on the next dive. Is it better than your Red Sea dives? Heard (from my dental hygenist) there is some interesting fossil diving near us : right of Siesta Key, Florida.
Enjoy the Exotic Underwater Life!
